    Customer service has been transferred to the Philippines on 0800 496 1081 making it impossible to obtain a resolution on a complaint. I took advantage of the 30 day free trial of Primetime but did not feel it worth the extra money.     amazon has never ever kept any promotional offers like get a xbox 360 with game for £20 i feel this is a con just to get customers interested ,they are never availible or the codes never work ,my other main gripe is the order this item and receive within 48 hours ,it never arrives ,i ordered an xbox under this offer for my sons birthday but never ever received it after 2 weeks i canceled the order...     Simply the only online store I trust completely. I have ordered (and received on time) a sony a200 dslr camera (quite a large box), dvds, cds, books, games (wii, xbox 360 etc.), filters for cameras etc..

    Every time, I have been really impressed. What's more, Amazon seem to be the cheapest for everything. They have various different delivery options (free, 1st class and express).

    So far, it has always been the cheapest, has the greatest selection and the best prices out of any other place I shop. I particularly get great deals on books for college and electrical items that are always over-priced in the average shop. I got an email back saying they were out of stock and are expecting stock back in. Fair enough! Though it would have been nice if they had of told me this when ordering the product.

    I've only ever ordered small things such as CDs, DVDs, games and a graphics card, but out of all these things Amazon have always delivered quickly and it has always arrived in good condition.

    I can't comment on how they deal with larger deliveries though.

    They are fine for books and cd's/dvd's but for anything larger (eg Sony micro-hi fi) they were an unmitigated disaster.

    Despite paying for next day delivery to ensure a saturday delivery the product didn't arrive. I was informed by the "robot" I spoke to at Amazon that they would rearrange delivery via City Link on the following tuesday.
